THE SOIREE

The Soiree is the American Cancer Society's premier fundraising event in Walla Walla. Our local community will join the American Cancer Society on Saturday, June 1st, at one of the most prestigious event venues - Marcus Whitman Hotel, helping raise money for cancer patient services and cancer research.

Guests will enjoy a one-of-a-kind dining experience featuring exceptional food from our community's best chefs, paired with award-winning wines from our local wineries.

Dunham Cellars has once again teamed up with Minam Store Outfitters to provide a Wine & Food on the River experience. This exclusive trip takes place July 27-30 and will be filled with beautiful wines poured by Co-Owner John Blair & Winemaker Rob Campisi, great friends and delicious food!

About the Trip:

The Lower Salmon River is a river expedition Maui style with white sandy beaches inviting you through the lower gorges. With lots of class III & IV whitewater, a guided rafting trip on the Lower Salmon River has a great balance of heart-pounding whitewater rafting and stress-melting beachside camping. The Lower Salmon is a summer recreation dreamland offering a continuous wave of good times and new memories. From running the rapids and swimming in the pools to playing games in the sand and relaxing beneath the stars, it’s hard to imagine anything could make these trips better. Yet it does get better when we add in a renowned chef serving up multi-course dinners on the beach and Dunham Cellars sharing their uniquely crafted wines.

The Auction of Washington Wines Picnic and Barrel Auction on Friday, August 9 provides an opportunity to meet the winemakers in person, visit the tasting bars where you can choose from more than 100 wines, graze your way through each chef station, and enjoy the camaraderie of the Washington wine industry! Try your hand at a game of chance for wine prizes or have fun at the Barrel Auction and take your chance on winning as you bid on reserve wines from 35 Washington wineries.
