This wine shows dark plum, Bing cherry and violets in the nose with a richly woven tapestry of Friar plum and black cherry cobbler…all driven and carried by finely integrated tannins. This wine should age nicely for at least 15 years.

Velvety, generous and open-textured, with pretty blueberry and currant fruit shaded with hints of wet earth and wet stone, lingering on the refined finish. Drink now through 2015. (Reviewed by Wine Spectator's Harvey Steiman - December 2008)
