Sweet and Spicy Brie

DUNHAM CELLARS WINE CLUB - JUNE 2014

INGREDIENTS:

• 8” Brie
• 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
• 1 cup brown sugar
• ¼ teaspoon seasoning salt
• ¼ cup dried cranberries, chopped
• ½ teaspoon hot sauce
• ¼ cup sundried tomatoes, chopped
• 3-4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
• ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
• 1 stick butter, melted
• Salt & pepper

WINE PAIRING:

2011 Dunham Syrah

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: 

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Mix all ingredients and season to taste with salt and pepper. Place brie in a bakingdish and spread the mixture evenly over brie.

Bake 15 to 30 minutes until hot. Serve with crackers or sliced baguette.
