Dunham Dog Biscuits

Dunham Dog Biscuits

2 ½ cups whole wheat flour
½ cup nonfat dry milk
1 teaspoon each sugar and salt
6 Tablespoons flax seed oil
1 egg
1 teaspoon garlic powder 
½ cup cold water 


Mix all ingredients with about ½ cup cold water. 

Dough should form a ball.  If too dry, add cold water one teaspoon at a time. 

Knead for three minutes on a floured board. 

Roll dough out to ½ inch thickness and cut into dog bones with sharp knife or a cookie cutter. 

Bake on a lightly greased cookie sheet for 30 minutes at 350º.

Allow to cool before serving!
