Fragole al Balsamico

Fragole al Balsamico
(Balsamic Strawberries)

1/4 cup sweet Marsala
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon grated orange zest
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
2 pints strawberries, hulled and quartered
6 fresh mint leaves


In a saucepan, combine Marsala, vinegar, sugar, grated orange zest, and lemon juice; boil for 8 minutes. Add strawberries, remove from heat, and stir. Let cool for 10 minutes. Garnish with mint leaves and serve.
