Lisa Dupar – Lisa Dupar Catering
1 cup whipping cream
2 cups milk
½ cup sugar
2 cups Bourbon or Vodka
12 eggs, separated
½ Tablespoon cinnamon, or to taste
¼ teaspoon allspice, or to taste
¼ teaspoon nutmeg, or to taste
In a large bowl, blend the egg yolks, spices, milk and sugar together.
Next, pour in the Bourbon or Vodka.
In a separate small bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff.
In another small bowl, whip the cream until stiff.
Fold the whipped cream into the egg yolk mixture.
Finally, fold in the egg whites. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
Note: The egg yolks & whites in this recipe are not cooked. This dish should not be prepared for pregnant women, the elderly, or anyone whose health is compromised.
