6-8 tart apples, pared and sliced
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Dash of salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup water
2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/4 cups butter
1 cup powdered milk
1 cup oatmeal (not instant)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut together ingredients to make crumble topping.
Place sliced apples in 9” square pan. Sprinkle topping over apples.
Drizzle the water over all.
Bake for 50 minutes or until apples are tender.
Serve warm with whipped topping or vanilla ice cream.
