• 1 flank steak
• 1/3 cup honey
• 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
• Freshly ground black pepper to taste
• 1/4 cup Dunham Cellars Columbia Valley Syrah

Cutting across the grain, cross cut the flank steak half way through the steak every 3/4-1”. Flip the steak over and repeat so both sides are cross cut.
In a ziplock bag add honey, soy sauce, wine and pepper. Add the flank steak making sure that the marinade is evenly distributed on both sides. Marinate for at least 30 minutes—24 hours is preferable.
Place steak on BBQ with high heat for 3 minutes per side (do not over cook). Remove from BBQ and cover with aluminum foil. Let rest for 5-10 minutes. Remove from foil and slice in 1/4 inch slices.
